Feature film "Baran" directed by Majid Majidi will be screened by the People's Voice on May 31, 2015.
Internationally acclaimed filmmaker Majid Majidi is a major name in Iranian cinema. His films are lyrical stories of marginalized people of society as a result of capitalist development.
Though set in Iranian background, the humanist approach of treatment of Majid Majidi gives them universal appeal.
It is pertinent to add here that this film show is being organised by the People's Voice in Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall, Jalandhar. In the show screening is followed by discussion on film.
